Tuesday Topics: Six Favorite Products

Life. Love.Lauren

Is it bad that when I saw the Tuesday Topic I immediately thought of food? And I did this while stuffing my face with one of my favorite products...Smartfood White Cheddar Popcorn! (Yay, food!)

Must focus.

(1) 100% Acetone

Ever since I started wearing fake nails years ago, I've used pure acetone. First it was used to soak of the acrylics but then I started using it for regular nail polish removal because it worked so much better and faster than the weak stuff dubbed "nail polish remover."

(2) Lasting Wear Lipstick

Ahhh! I can't stand reapplying my lipstick. What other make-up product do you have to apply over and over like regular lipstick? It's so annoying! That's why I think lasting wear lipsticks or stains are genius and I really like Cover Girl's product shown above. But I don't use the moisture stick, I buy a separate gloss.

(3) Apricot Scrub

I've heard it's not the best kind of face wash as a daily wash but I just don't feel like my face is clean unless I use it! So I at least try to choose a scrub that's sepecifically for sensitive skin.

(4) Clean and Clear Morning Glow Moisturizer with SPF 15.

I love this stuff. I know it's probably meant for teenagers and I should grow up and buy something for the face of a grown ass woman. But I don't like that heavy feeling on my face a lot of moisturizers leave and my skin is sensitive. Anything that messes with anything makes my skin go nuts. The best part is that it has sunscreen in it, which is so important, especially here on the sun. I mean here in Arizona.

(5) Sensodyne

Seriously. I will never use another toothpaste again.

(6) L'oreal Sublime Bronze Tinted Self Tanner

I'm a huge...HUGE...fan of spray tans and self tanners. As I mentioned, I live in Arizona. And after years of laying out in the sun with only two shades to choose from - pasty white and lobster red - I gave it up. It ain't gonna happen. Enter self tanners. Yes, I know they can be orangey. I really don't care. My motto is that orange fat still looks better than white fat. I love L'oreal Sublime because it dries fast, there's a slightly shimmering bronzer so your legs look pretty immediately, and the tan is pretty decent. It also doesn't smell really strong, which can be a problem with self tanners. This one is the best.

  2. I use the Clean and Clear Morning Burst cleanser - maybe I should grow up too, but I just love the tingly feeling! And I will never use a toothpaste other than the Sensodyne Pronamel one! Great list!

    Stopping by from Tuesday Topics!
