Weekend Wrap Up: Burgers, Blogiversary, and See Through Pants?

WEEKEND WRAP UP

Burgers, Blogiversary, and See Through Pants?

There was some family time and some me time this weekend. Although, there was more "FAMILY" and a little "ME" as far as time goes. But that's okay. I kinda like my family so it works out.

Saturday we went to Fuddruckers, all five of us, and I have to say that is my favorite hamburger. It has been decided. I've tried Five Guys, Freddy's, In and Out, and I know die hards of those burger joints will scoff at my love of Fuddruckers, but it's the best. Sorry I'm not sorry it tastes like hamburger heaven. And it's a really good thing it's so far away from where I live. Otherwise my ass would be in trouble. Literally.

We also spent the evening with our family-neighbors (my aunt and uncle live right next door) partying it up with Phase 10. Phase 10 and a few beers is good clean-ish fun. And I won! Both times! Which is awesome because I never win anything. Even though they said I cheated. Haters gonna hate.

So today, I had a little bit of me time and went to the mall sans children, almost interruption free. We went to Victoria's Secret to try stuff on which was semi fun. But what's the deal with everything being see through? Is that a style or something? I can deal with a shirt because I can wear a cami underneath if too much is showing. But, seriously, Victoria! You're showing off our secrets! The pants are so thin, they're see through!

I also wanted to mention that my diva daughter, Lola, who is three years old loves sushi. She woke up Saturday and Sunday morning asking for sushi for breakfast.

I feel two ways about this:

1. I'm insanely proud that my daughter is exposed to various foods and even loves it.

2. I think I may have created a monster. Sushi ain't the cheapest food on the block.

And that brings us tonight...WALKING DEAD NIGHT! I know I'm a tad obsessed but it has become a family show, minus the two little ones. The last ten minutes of it gave me a few mini heart attacks and made up for the lagging first forty-five minutes.

Pretty much. We should also be best friends if you love the movie Stepbrothers.

Oh, and today is my two month blogiversary! Yippee! I celebrate from the date of my first blog post (December 17th) and I've had so much fun meeting all of you. Seriously! It has been a huge learning experience but I'm ready to keep going.

Have a great week!

I'm linking up with Leeann from Join the Gossip.

  8. lmao that's how I feel about Game of Thrones. Everyone tells me I should get into the Walking Dead but I feel like I watch enough shows already! Maybe I can watch the previous seasons on Netflix over the summer.
